Anafaith Lubliner, Center Director
Anafaith is thrilled to be the center director for SF Music Together because she believes in creating musical magic with stories, song & spontaneity. She has taught music, songwriting, theater, guitar & music for over 8 years to children in public schools, recreation centers & non-profits. Anafaith has been an Artist in Residence in theater & music & a Recreation Director.
As a singer/songwriter she has produced an original CD “ Anatomy of a Relationship” which has received a wonderful response. She has performed her own music all over the SF Bay Area & beyond. Anafaith grew up listening to the Beatles and Joni Mitchell & writing her own music while splashing in the bathtub. She believes that teaching Music Together will inspire more children and parents to sing, splash & dance.
"We love our SF Music Together class! Anafaith is an excellent and engaging teacher and she really brings the music to life with movement, instruments for the kids, and an excellent singing voice. The Music Together® CD is definitely my 9 month old’s favorite music CD because every time I play it at home he claps and screams with joy. I think the classes have really helped my son learn about music and rhythm and I'm really glad I chose these classes with SF Music Together."-Kira, mother of 9 month old son |

Bevin Fernandez
Bevin Fernandez was raised on the Peninsula in a music-loving family. At the age of three, she started ballet classes with the South San Francisco Civic Ballet. Rehearsing and performing with Bay Area companies was a highlight of her childhood that lead to a dedication and practice which continues to this day. She also began teaching ballet to young children by the time she was fifteen.
At the age of six, a special delivery which she thought was a tree-house, ended up being a piano. This was to her dismay at the time but that faded and led to mastering classical sonatas, blues pieces, and old standards to play for her grandmother. In fourth grade Bevin picked up the oboe - to the surprise of the school's band director - and throughout her school years played in award-winning symphonic bands, chamber ensembles with the oboe and jazz band on the piano. Bevin went on to receive a B.A. in Sociology at the University of California
In San Francisco, she was introduced to Music Together as a nanny and experienced first-hand what a special program it is. With a personal knowledge of the innumerable benefits of early exposure to creative and performing arts, Bevin is excited to share her knowledge, experience and love of it with her class. She will be our first teacher who plays the ukelele!
"Bevin is awesome and Jula loves her too! She talks about "Teacher Bevin" all the time and has grown so much musically that I can hardly believe it. She's just turned 2 and has a whole list of favorite songs that she sings all the time. Thank you so much for a great program and to Bevin for being such a great teacher too. "

Nicole Ridgwell
Nicole started singing before she started talking. Growing up in a rich Celtic and bluegrass scene, she gained a diverse musical background, performing at music festivals from the time she was 9 years old. She took Suzuki violin lessons, participated in fiddle camps, and took formal vocal training as well. Throughout her musical career, she has been involved in various bands, ensembles, musical theatre, and internationally touring choirs. She has professional experience playing weddings and corporate events as well as venues such as Café Du Nord and the Rockit Room, and competing in various classical competitions.
Nicole has always loved working with children; she was deeply affected by music as a child, and knows how important it is to give music's gift back to the next generation. Through her work as a children's performer, she gained a clear understanding that children learn music most effectively through playing, which reflects in her teaching style. She has a strong belief that playing music is called "playing" for a reason, and her favorite aspect of teaching is when her student realizes how fun music really is. |
